In past time and when Iran, Tooran and old Romean were superpower in wide world, Until conquest and defense of self country were going to battlefield and sending some heroes for creating fear in heart of competitors they are admired because of doing wonderful things for example :hang up heavy things like big stones, carts of war arms and etc.

Defense among strongmen were held in deferent ways and different countries, in old Rome gladiators fight with lions, other wild animals, clubs and tall lances to each other in special pits until death.

But defense were current in other different ones in Iran and heroes like Rostam, Aryobarzin, Gordafarid, Syavash and Arash .

In our fables and more important thing at the head of Islamic war  velour's and heroics of imam Ali ,Iranian heroics to live and customs of war had a well deserved role .This kind of defenses are appeared at future years in our world irregularity and Unprofessional that are held by different people at countries and villages .

They consist of tearing range, Halfling a tray and breaking heavy stones on the stomach.

not only in Iran but also in all countries circuits showed their works until 25 years ago men out of  border started to hold competitions with the name of strongest men .but in our country these competitions wasn't officially and it was reason that I'm thinking about designing ones in 1997 and the first time this field of sport was foundation in Iran .I designed Iranian strongest men competition and after take a look from experts of country sport started giving to IRIB sport and it's shown from 26 TV program telecast In Iranian TV and a sport with name of power lifting that was unknown until that time are introduced to people .   

after end of first Seri of Iranian strongest men competition I thought about condensed and scientific organization that named Iranian strongest men Association and heads of sport and several heroes of this sport field .thought in sound I give thanks to unlimited attempts of gentlemen :My Father Mr. Mohammad M.Amiri ISA President , Mr.Amin Moayedi (ISA Vice President) , Mr.Mehdi Amiri & Syamak Porali (Senate Members of ISA) , Mr.saeed faeghi engineer ,honorable assistance of technical time and federations of sport organization from  1997-200) ,Behzad Baikverdi: honorable assistance of sport time IRIB (Islamic republic of Iran Broadcast) from 1997-1999), Dr.Madjid Hossienizad :manager of planning and providing of channel 3 IRIB( from 1997 until now)

Also I am very tanks for helping my wife Mrs. Nastaran Amiri that she is very help me for International cooperation with other organization. So now she is Public relation Asia strongmen Federation for coordinator all the Asia countries.

The main goals of Iranian Strongest men Association ( ISA) & Asia Strongmen Federation ( ASF ) :

• Creating of power sport clubs dependent to Association and having representation in Iran & Asia. 
• Carrying sport competition on with cultural and charitable aims.
• Carrying on international competition in Iran.
• Sending Champion athletes to attending on international competition. 
• Carrying educational classes on and creating specialized, cultural and sport committee in relation with Association & Asia federation for development.
• Creating kinds of sport and bodybuilding goods. 

It's necessary to say this Federation having 20 active representation in all around a world & Asia, also more than 50 clubs and 5000 powerful athletes from beginning of activity up to now are going to carry on national competitions, logical and cultural charitable competition in all around a world.
